Sonance’s latest Mariner MX56 outdoor speaker features new Sinusoidal textured waveguide technology ensuring consistent tonality and wide dispersion for even balanced audio coverage. Improved transducer technology, from Sonance new VX series, provides exceptional audio performance and playback with crisp fidelity. These MX speakers are IP66 rated, weather resistant and when mounted outdoors will perform exceptionally well for years even under adverse weather conditions.

The speakers feature advanced Sonance Sinusoidal Textured Waveguide technology and Sonance VX transducers to achieve full and balanced music dispersion and clarity outside. Their stunning performance, along with the MX Grille Clip System and enhanced Sonance FastMount Bracket System, make these MX56 the most superior outdoor surface mounted product on the market.
The Mariner FastMount bracket system makes it easy to mount the speakers in a variety of positions and locations and then the speaker angle can be locked into place for precision positioning that doesn’t sag over time. In most cases you will be able to attach the FastMount brackets directly to the mounting surface. Run the speaker wires from the amplifier to the speaker locations and through the holes in the brackets.
To increase water resistance and make installation easier, the speaker wire terminals are located on the Mariner speakers’ front panel behind the removable waveguide.
The Grille Clip System securely holds the grille in place during exposure to extreme temperature fluctuations and outdoor elements.
Sonance Mariner MX Speakers feature a tough polypropylene enclosure that can be painted using a weather resistant outdoor paint.

Performance
- Completely redesigned woofer, tweeter and crossover with the same materials and technology as Sonance’s award winning Visual Performance line
- A 250% increase in woofer excursion allows for significantly decreased distortion at high volumes
- 7.44mm / 0.293” increase in the diameter of the voice coils for increased output and vented pole pieces to decrease heat at voice coils
- Tweeters are chambered allowing for a lower crossover frequency, cooler operation and higher power handling

- The award winning Mariner outdoor speakers feature IP66 rating allowing for this loudspeaker to be used in the most challenging outdoor environments
- Precision FastMount® mounting bracket simplifies installation, provides up to 180° of pivot and securely locks the speaker into place
- Grille fit has been precision engineered for ease of installation while maintaining grille retention
- Innovative front mounted wire terminal connections protect against corrosion for a long service life
- Water impermeable drivers and sealed polypropylene enclosure ensure consistent and trouble free performance
- Compatible with the Sonance Professional Series PS-60XF full fidelity transformer for 70V and 100V commercial applications
